This role will focus primarily on recruiting non-clinical, school-based behavioral support professionals, including Paraprofessionals, Personal Care Assistants (PCAs), Teaching Assistants, and similar support positions. This is a high-volume recruiting role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can move candidates efficiently through the hiring process, and is confident making hiring decisions. You'll work closely with our Non-Clinical Service Lead to understand staffing priorities and ensure we are bringing the right people onto our team to support our school partners and students. The Talent Acquisition Specialist – Non-Clinical is responsible for managing a high volume of candidates through the recruiting and selection process for school-based behavioral support positions. This role focuses on quickly identifying qualified applicants, conducting effective interviews, evaluating candidate fit, making hiring decisions, and extending verbal offers. While candidate outreach and pipeline development are part of the role, the primary emphasis is on candidate conversion, interviewing, selection, and maintaining an efficient hiring process rather than extensive passive sourcing. You will serve as an ambassador for Nyman Associates and play an important role in creating a positive, professional, and engaging candidate experience from initial application through offer. You will work closely with the Non-Clinical Service Lead and internal partners to understand staffing needs, hiring priorities, and candidate requirements. Essential

Duties and Responsibilities

Manage high-volume recruiting for non-clinical, school-based behavioral support positions, including Paraprofessionals, PCAs, Teaching Assistants, and similar roles. Manage candidates through the recruiting lifecycle from application review and initial contact through interview, hiring decision, and verbal offer. Review and screen a high volume of candidate applications and resumes to identify qualified applicants efficiently. Conduct phone, virtual, and in-person interviews to evaluate candidates based on experience, qualifications, communication skills, reliability, and overall fit for school-based environments. Make hiring decisions and extend verbal offers to qualified candidates in alignment with established hiring guidelines and staffing needs. Clearly articulate position responsibilities, expectations, compensation, schedules, and the Nyman Associates employee experience to prospective candidates. Maintain consistent and timely candidate communication to keep candidates engaged and moving through the hiring process. Utilize our Applicant Tracking System (ATS), job boards, referrals, career fairs, and other recruiting channels to maintain a strong flow of applicants. Conduct targeted candidate outreach as needed to supplement applicant flow and support priority openings. Partner closely with the Non-Clinical Service Lead to understand current and upcoming staffing needs, hiring priorities, candidate profiles, and areas of urgency. Develop a strong understanding of our school partners and non-clinical service offerings to effectively evaluate and engage candidates. Monitor candidate pipelines and proactively identify potential gaps or barriers that may impact hiring goals. Balance multiple openings and hiring priorities while maintaining a sense of urgency and a high standard for candidate quality. Maintain accurate and timely candidate records, interview notes, dispositions, and recruiting activity within the ATS. Track recruiting activity and key hiring metrics to support team goals and identify opportunities for improvement. Provide ongoing feedback regarding candidate trends, applicant flow, recruiting challenges, and opportunities to improve the hiring process. Represent Nyman Associates at career fairs, recruiting events, community events, and other talent acquisition initiatives as needed. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Operations, and other internal teams to support a smooth transition from candidate to new hire. Ensure every candidate receives a positive, professional, and respectful experience throughout the recruiting process. Complete other responsibilities as assigned. Essential Knowledge, Skills & Experience 2–5 years of recruiting experience, with experience in high-volume recruiting strongly preferred. Experience recruiting within education, behavioral health, healthcare, staffing, human services, or another high-volume environment preferred. A bachelor’s degree in a business-related field is preferred but not required. Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of applicants, interviews, and open positions simultaneously. Strong interviewing and candidate assessment skills, with the confidence and judgment to make effective hiring decisions. Experience extending offers and successfully converting qualified candidates into hires. Strong sense of urgency and ability to move candidates efficiently through a fast-paced recruiting process. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport with candidates. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities and shifting staffing needs. Ability to balance speed, candidate experience, and quality of hire in a high-volume environment. Comfortable working toward recruiting goals and using hiring metrics to evaluate progress and performance. Ability to work closely and collaboratively with operational leaders while also independently managing day-to-day recruiting decisions. Experience utilizing job boards and recruiting platforms such as Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, Facebook, and similar resources. High level of computer proficiency, including experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel). Experience using Workday as an ATS strongly preferred. A proactive, solutions-oriented approach and willingness to adapt quickly as staffing priorities change. A thoughtful and confident communicator who can create a welcoming candidate experience while setting clear expectations about school-based roles. Requirements
