The Clinical Fellow will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders in students while collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized education plans. They are responsible for providing direct therapy, monitoring student progress, and maintaining accurate documentation of services.
Conduct comprehensive assessments of students' speech, language, and communication skills. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language goals. Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students' communication needs in the classroom and beyond. Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided and student progress. Participate in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Valid Limited TX State Licensure or ability to obtain licensure Educator Certificate (if applicable) Experience working with school-age children preferred. Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. Commitment to evidence-based practice and professional growth.
