The ideal candidate for this role will possess a compassionate attitude and a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning.

Role Responsibilities

Responsible for the overall classroom management, leading a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. Serve as a role model, using a growth mindset to develop young minds and inspire a love of learning. Implement our proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum, working with children in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child. Plan and present effective lesson plans (teacher manuals provided each month) and teaching strategies for students. Utilize a variety/range of learning modalities in each lesson. Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play, learn and grow. Communicate regularly with parents, sharing their children’s latest adventures and achievements through a variety of avenues, including mobile apps and personal discussions. Support your center’s success, partnering with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment and engagement. Build relationships with families and coworkers and create a dynamic environment where play and learning happen seamlessly.

Qualifications

At least 3 - 5 years of professional teaching experience (Required) Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related degree or CDA (Required) Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices (DAP) CPR and First Aid Certification (Required) Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. (Required) Must meet all state specific guidelines and certifications for the role

Requirements

Candidates must have 3-5 years of professional teaching experience and a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a CDA. Additionally, a valid CPR and First Aid certification is required, along with the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
