As an Preschool Teacher at Merryhill School, you will help lay the foundation for lifelong learning by creating a safe, nurturing, and developmentally rich environment for our youngest students. What We’re Looking For 12 semester (or 18 quarter) ECE units covering child development, child/family/community, and curriculum; or a bachelor’s degree in Child Development Child Development Associate Certification CDA) preferred Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for working with young children Strong communication and interpersonal skills Prior early childhood teaching experience preferred Ability to support a safe, supportive, and developmentally appropriate learning environment To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
