Personal trainers assess, motivate, and teach clients how to improve their physical fitness and well-being through a collaborative, client-centered approach. They are responsible for maintaining client relationships, running safe sessions tailored to individual goals, and attending all staff meetings.
Personal Trainers strive to live out the vision, mission, and core values of the Office of Recreation and Well through creating relationships with the Butler Community to increase the accessibility of physical activity by acting as a resource of knowledge of safe and enjoyable movement. Personal Trainers assess, discuss, motivate, and teach clients how to improve their physical fitness, well-being, and reinforce healthy habits through a client centered approach where the trainer and client move collaboratively through the clients fitness and wellness journey.

Position Responsibilities
Interact with client(s) with no judgment, striving to ensure that they have a positive and safe experience.
Maintain at least two clients throughout tenure of employment.
Maintain open communication with clients to set client sessions and ensure that the trainer can answer any questions the client may have.
Run each session in accordance with the client’s specific goals and adjust session intensities to adapt to each client’s physical capabilities.
Attending all staff meetings and trainings.
