Working under the supervision of licensed mental health staff, this role helps students build regulation skills, supports them during times of emotional distress, and contributes to a safe, inclusive school environment. The SEL Technician also plays an important role in tracking progress through consistent documentation and collaboration with the mental health team.

Support students individually or in classes with behavior strategies, emotional regulation, and classroom engagement.

Provide direct support to students through SEL skill-building activities, small groups, and one-on-one check-ins, under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals.

Assist with preparing materials, monitoring student progress, and maintaining documentation related to mental health in coordination with licensed mental health staff.
