The Baseball Instructor will lead and implement age-appropriate baseball drills and practices to foster skill development and teamwork among young players. They are also responsible for ensuring a safe, positive environment and upholding sportsmanship standards during games and scrimmages.
Demonstrate a strong passion for fostering positive environments and enriching experiences for children, ensuring their growth both athletically and personally. Committed to encouraging children’s self-confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship through engaging and supportive coaching practices. Possess experience working with children across various age groups, understanding their developmental needs and tailoring instruction accordingly. Adapt teaching methods to engage children with different learning styles, ensuring each player feels supported and challenged. Ideal candidates include graduating seniors and college students with a background in athletics and/or team sports, demonstrating a deep understanding of teamwork, discipline, and leadership. Ability to relate personal athletic experience to coaching practices, offering insight into the importance of teamwork, perseverance, and goal setting for young players. Sports Specific Experience Intercollegiate, intramural, and/or high school experience Experience playing and/or coaching one or more of the following sports: soccer, baseball/softball, basketball, football, and fitness. Flexible, takes direction and has initiative, and is comfortable in a fast paced, changing environment Summer Camp experience a plus.

This position requires the ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays. This position is year-round.
