In this role, the Speech-Language Pathologist will provide direct speech and language therapy services to an elementary caseload. The position is therapy-focused and does not include evaluation or assessment responsibilities, allowing the clinician to concentrate fully on delivering effective interventions and supporting student progress. The SLP will develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), track student progress through ongoing data collection, and maintain accurate documentation and progress reporting.
Working collaboratively with teachers, school staff, and families, you will help ensure students receive the consistent support they need to strengthen communication skills and participate fully in the classroom environment.
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders. An active South Carolina Speech-Language Pathology license is required prior to the start of the assignment. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) is preferred. Applicants should also demonstrate strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills to effectively support student success in a school-based setting.
