About the role

The instructor will assist participants with daily activities including recreational planning, arts and crafts, and meal preparation. They are also responsible for facilitating community utilization activities to promote participant independence.

Living Resources is seeking After School Program Instructors & Lead Instructors for several of our sites. The After School Program Instructor will assist program participants in all created activities such as activity planning, recreational activities, arts and crafts, meal planning/prep, and community utilization activities, which promote the self-sufficiency and independence of the program participants.

Requirements

We would like to speak with those that are: Passionate about making a difference At least 18 years of age Have a High School Diploma or GED Have a valid NYS Driver's License for transporting individuals to community activities Have experience with people with developmental disabilities, preferred.
