Make a Difference The School Licensed Practical Nurse Ambulatory provides health services to facilitate optimal physical, mental, emotional and social growth and development for students within the schools. Cares for students with chronic health issues and helps identify health needs during the course of the school day. Provides health education, medication management, emotional support and referral to higher levels of care based on student needs. Supports the education process by working to assure the health of the students. Promotes healthy habits and overall health to strengthen maximum learning. The school nurse position is located on the east side in Indianapolis, Indiana with Warren Township Schools. The school nurse will support Warren Central. Exceptional Skills and Qualifications
Graduate of a recognized accredited school of practical nursing, or have three years related professional nursing experience. Current Indiana Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
Two years or more of nursing experience required.
Two years of experience working with pediatric patients required.

Candidates must be a graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing and hold a current Indiana LPN license. At least two years of nursing experience, specifically with pediatric patients, is required.
