About the role

The paraprofessional will support students in both general education and special education settings as assigned by the building administrator. They are expected to embody the district's core values of belonging, engagement, continuous improvement, collaboration, and integrity.

The School District of Onalaska is accepting applications for a full-time special education paraprofessional at Onalaska high school. This position specifically supports students who are at-risk, requiring a de-escalation mindset to provide consistent behavioral and emotional support throughout the school day.

Hours are 7: 15am to 3:15pm

No nights or weekends, school day only, and summer school work is available if interested.

We are seeking individuals who embody Onalaska's core values of Belonging, Engagement, Continuous Improvement, Collaboration, and Integrity.

Qualifications

A minimum of two years (48 credits) post high school education, or an associate degree preferred. If two years post high school is not achieved, applicants must have passed ParaPro Assessment or designated WorkKeys Assessments prior to employment. The WorkKeys Assessment is paid for by the district if selected for employment.
