ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves the community by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities. As the Childcare Program Substitute, you will provide staffing support for ARC's licensed school-age and preschool programs across multiple sites. This includes providing a quality childcare experience for children aged 3-12 in accordance with the philosophies and procedures of the organization and the policies of the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Family Services (DCYF). The person in this role reports to the Area Operations Supervisor.

• Substitute duties and responsibilities: Lead classroom operations, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for children ages 3–5 (preschool classroom) or 6-12 (school-age classroom) Keep notes and observations on individual children when needed
