Child Focus is seeking a dedicated early childhood professional to serve as Lead Teacher in an Infant/Toddler Classroom, ages 0-3, implementing a research-based curriculum.
Duties include set up and maintenance of classroom, engaging with infants and toddlers, diaper changing and fostering learning and growth.
Child Focus is a Step Up to Quality Gold Rated Program and provides high quality early childhood services.
The lead teacher is responsible for providing a learning experience that accommodates children’s needs and stimulates learning across all domains of development including lesson planning, screening and curriculum implementation.
The lead teacher also works with the assistant teachers to ensure children’s basic needs are met and that the daily routine runs smoothly.
The lead teacher establishes a partnership with families, and helps the families set and meet goals for their children and themselves.
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable in child development, flexible, dependable and has the ability to work well with others.
