About the Role

Sacramento Montessori is looking for a passionate and nurturing Infant Teacher to join our dedicated early childhood education team in Sacramento, CA. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a lasting impact during the most critical stage of a child's development in a warm, child-centered environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive, loving care and supervision for infants in a safe and stimulating classroom environment
  • Maintain accurate daily logs including feeding, sleeping, and developmental observations
  • Communicate openly and regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities
  • Ensure classroom cleanliness, safety, and compliance with licensing regulations
  • Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to create a cohesive, nurturing learning community
  • Support each infant's individual developmental milestones and unique needs

Requirements

  • Previous experience working with infants in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Must meet California Community Care Licensing requirements
  • Warm, patient, and nurturing demeanor with a genuine love for working with young children
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • 12 ECE units, 3 infant toddler units
