  • RecreationThis position is responsible for: Leads children’s activities in and after school program including classroom training, tutoring, sports activities, bible study, computer programs and specialized programs; prepares and serves children snacks; assists in leading activities and maintains the cleanliness of the program areas. Prepares and maintains up-to-date records and required reports (attendance, development progress, discipline reports, etc.); prepares and processes supply orders; Maintains the after school program materials in an orderly fashion; maintains accountability necessities of the programs.

  • Responsibilities: Provides constant care of the needs of the children in an efficient, clean, loving, safe, secure, and healthy manner. Develops and implements lesson plans which are age-group program specific; utilizes age-group appropriate discovery areas, enriched with program-specific activities, including teacher-made materials and hands-on activities. Determines appropriate supplies and materials for lesson plans and recreational activities; ensures the children's safety in utilizing the same. Cleans kitchen, classrooms, tables, floors, etc. in accordance with established sanitary standards. Ensures the accountability, security, and safety of children participating in camp activities and field trips; reports all accidents to the supervisor in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Conditions: Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting, and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Work is performed in a normal office environment where there is little or no physical discomfort associated with changes in weather or discomfo1is associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.

Requirements
