Practice for this role

About the role

Lead students through curriculum-guided activities including LEGO builds, simple coding, and hands-on science. Manage classroom environments at various locations while providing energy and engagement for children ages 2-6.

We’re looking for people who are passionate about working with children, enthusiastic about learning, and excited to make a difference in the classroom. If that sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you!

Earn $70 per session teaching LEGO-based STEM, beginner robotics, and hands-on science to kids ages 2- 6. Every session pays a $70 flat stipend (covers your travel and prep time) plus $20–$30/hr for additional teaching time. Classes run at schools, community centers, and private pods across Miami-Dade.

What you'll do

Lead students through ready-made, curriculum-guided activities — LEGO builds, simple coding, and play-based engineering. Full curriculum and training provided; you bring energy and classroom presence, we bring everything else.

Schedule

Part-time and flexible: weekday after-school classes as early as 1:30 pm (morning classes available), plus optional weekend workshops, birthday parties, camps, and holiday programs. Take as many or as few sessions as fit your availability.

You're a great fit if you

Have 1+ years working with children (classroom, camp, daycare, or coaching), should pass Level 2 Background Clearances (or can obtain them), have reliable transportation, and love working with children. An education background is a plus, not a requirement — current teachers and education students are encouraged to apply.

Pay

$70 per session stipend + $20–$30/hr additional teaching rate. Typical

Session: $70–$150

Requirements

Requires at least one year of experience working with children and the ability to pass Level 2 background clearances. Reliable transportation is mandatory for traveling to various teaching sites.
