About the role

The instructor is responsible for providing educational programs and course instruction within the Emergency Services department. They must effectively meet the educational needs of the population served while maintaining professional development.

Interfaces effectively with peers and customers and assumes responsibility for continuous professional development.

In addition to the above job responsibilities, other duties may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School Graduate or equivalent required.

Experience

1 year experience preferred.

Licensure

None required.

Instructor

Status: Current and in good standing for disciplines taught PHYSICAL DEMANDS Job requires standing for prolonged periods, frequently traveling and bending/stooping and reaching (overhead, extensive, and repetitive). Proficient communicative, auditory and visual skills; Attention to detail and ability to write legibly. May be exposed to chemicals, blood/body fluids and infectious disease. The pay rate for this role is $50.00 hourly. This position is compensated at a fixed rate. Compensation is established in accordance with the position's approved pay structure. Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience is preferred. Applicants must hold current instructor status in the disciplines they are teaching.
