About the role

The teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Stratford curriculum while fostering a positive and supportive classroom environment. They will also assess student progress and collaborate closely with families, grade-level teammates, and school leadership to ensure student success.

About the Role

At Stratford School, our lower elementary classrooms are built around curiosity, structure, and strong relationships. We’re looking for a teacher who enjoys working with early elementary students and wants to be part of a collaborative school community. As a Lower Elementary Teacher, you’ll create a classroom where students feel supported, challenged, and excited to learn each day. You’ll work closely with fellow teachers, school leadership, and families to help students grow academically and socially. In this role, you will: Plan and teach engaging lessons aligned with the Stratford curriculum. Create a positive, organized classroom environment that supports student learning and independence. Assess student progress and communicate regularly with families. Collaborate with grade-level teammates and school leadership to support student success. Participate in school events, professional development, and the broader campus community. What We’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. Experience teaching in a lower elementary classroom. A warm, dependable, and student-centered approach to teaching. Why Stratford? Requirements
