The Assistant Math Teacher will provide supplemental math instruction to small groups and partner with lead teachers to implement academic programs. They are also responsible for maintaining instructional materials, tracking student attendance, and fostering a positive classroom environment.

The positive, enthusiastic assistant teacher we seek has these qualifications. High school diploma required. Teaching or co-teaching experience of at least 2 years at the elementary or secondary level (K-12) is required Teacher certification or degree in elementary education is highly preferred Must be comfortable and knowledgeable on math instruction for Kindergarten through 8th grade students. Must be able to demonstrate math content knowledge during the interview. Unwavering belief that all children can learn. Ability to communicate and interact effectively with individuals. Knowledge of computer software and Microsoft Office experience.
SCHEDULE: Must be on the school campus
Mondays through
Fridays (excluding school closure days) from 7:30a-3p. When school is not in session, hourly employees are not paid. This includes when school is on its Fall Break, Spring Break, state holidays, federal holidays, special event days, and religious holidays.
