Provide interpretation services for students and families, for school meetings. This role requires strong real-time interpreting skills, collaboration with teachers, staff, and related service providers to support student/family during meetings and conferences. Collaborate with teachers, SPED staff, and related service providers to support student success and IEP goals
Support communication during meetings, assessments, and other school activities as needed
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards of interpreting What We're Looking For: Must Have: Professional fluency in English and at least one of the following languages: Vietnamese, Mandarin (simplified or traditional),Farsi, Arabic, Tagalog, Korean, Cantonese, Dari, Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Turkish, German and Russian
Experience providing interpretation in professional, educational, healthcare, or community settings.
Ability to pass Simulated Interpretation Exercise.
Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interpret accurately in real time.
Ability to pass background screening appropriate for school-aged populations.
Educational Context Training includes FERPA confidentiality protocol. A signed FERPA acknowledgment on file before any placement.
Requires professional fluency in English and Vietnamese, along with the ability to pass a simulated interpretation exercise and background screening. Experience in educational or professional settings is required, with certifications like ATA, CCHI, or NBCMI preferred.
