This is a part-time, temporary, non-benefit-based position with an anticipated end date of December 18, 2026. The appointment is renewable at the discretion of the University and dependent upon performance and continued funding.
The Business Career Services Manager provides individualized career coaching and career readiness support for undergraduate and/or graduate students in the Knauss School of Business. This position delivers high-quality career coaching through one-on-one appointments, helping students develop the skills, strategies, and confidence needed to successfully pursue internships, employment, and graduate opportunities.
The Manager collaborates with the Business Career Services team to ensure students receive timely, relevant, and industry-informed guidance while maintaining accurate coaching documentation. This is a temporary position focused exclusively on student career coaching and related student support responsibilities.
Duties: and Responsibilities:
Deliver 1:1 and/or group coaching to support students in building career readiness and provide guidance on topics such as resume and cover letter review, mock interview preparation, career exploration, job/internship search strategy, and career management conversations.
Tailor career coaching using labor market insights, industry-specific hiring timelines, and professional standards to ensure timely, relevant support.
Identify and promote internship and job opportunities while guiding students in building meaningful professional networks.
Support students through challenges that impact academic and career progress by providing referrals to campus wellness and advising services.
Maintain accurate coaching notes and student records using career services technologies and university systems.
Collaborate with Business Career Services colleagues to ensure consistency in coaching practices and student support.
Successful completion of a pre-employment background check.
Persons offered employment in this position will be required to provide official education transcripts for degree verification purposes.

$34.00 - $38.00 per hour
The salary range provided in this posting reflects what we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Actual compensation offered or earned is dependent on experience, education and other factors including departmental budget.
