The Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans and managing the classroom environment. They are responsible for ensuring the safety, social, and emotional development of children through active engagement and positive interactions.

00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday through Friday and requires a minimum of six months of experience in a licensed childcare center.

Assistant Teacher Key Responsibilities: Assist the Lead Teacher in implementing age-appropriate lesson plans Support children’s social, emotional, cognitive and physical development through active engagement and positive interactions Prepare classroom materials and ensure a safe, clean and inviting learning environment Supervise and provide individualized support to children and foster a sense of belonging Assist in communicating with families about their child’s progress and daily activities Adhere to health and safety guidelines and licensing regulations to ensure a secure environment Support daily care routines and tasks to promote a nurturing learning environment
