The assistant teacher will support the lead teacher in creating a safe, nurturing environment that fosters independence and social-emotional growth for toddlers. They will also assist with daily routines, classroom organization, and engaging children in hands-on learning activities.

Toddler Assistant Teacher Ages 18 Months–2.5 Years | Georgetown, TX

We are seeking a caring, dependable Toddler Assistant Teacher who enjoys working with young children and wants to make a meaningful difference during this important stage of development.

Montessori experience is not required. If you bring patience, enthusiasm, and a genuine love for working with toddlers, we will help you learn and grow as an educator.

A Supportive Classroom Team Our Toddler Community serves 15 children between 18 months and 2.5 years old with a team of three educators: one Lead Teacher and two Assistant Teachers. This supportive 1:5 teacher-to-child ratio allows our teachers to build meaningful relationships with each child and provide thoughtful, individualized care.

As a Toddler Assistant Teacher, you will work alongside an experienced Lead Teacher to: Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment Help toddlers build independence through everyday routines Support children’s social and emotional development Guide children with patience through transitions and big feelings Encourage language, movement, curiosity, and hands-on learning Participate in activities such as art, cooking, gardening, music, and early STEM exploration Build positive relationships with children, families, and fellow teachers Help maintain a clean, calm, and organized classroom
