The Direct Support Professional will help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities build workplace skills and confidence through hands-on activities and community engagement. They act as a mentor and coach to encourage independence and support the personal growth of the people they serve.

As a Direct Support Professional in our Community Pre-Vocational Program, you'll help people we support build confidence, develop valuable workplace skills, and prepare for future employment opportunities.

Through hands-on activities, volunteer experiences, and community engagement, you'll play a key role in helping people discover their strengths and reach their full potential.

Pay Rate: $16.75 - $18.50 per hour + based on experience!

Location: 235 North Ave, Penn Yan Direct Support Professional Hours: Monday - Friday, Full-time, hours will vary Direct Support Professional Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required.

Minimally one-year experience working with people with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services or related field is required.

A Valid NYS Driver's License is required.

Requirements

Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience working with people with developmental disabilities or an associate degree in human services. A valid New York State driver's license is also required for the position.
