The Youth Academy Coach leads age-appropriate training sessions and games for U8-U10 players while supporting the club's mission and core values. They are responsible for executing administrative tasks, evaluating players, and fostering a positive, developmental environment.
Description This is a standing posting for positions that MAY open throughout the year. JOB DUTIES Key Responsibilities Lead assigned Youth Academy programs in coordination with the YA Director.
Conduct age-appropriate training sessions and coach games as assigned (u8-u10).
Exhibit professionalism and strong communication skills.
Demonstrate teamwork and a passion for youth development.
Execute club operations and administrative tasks efficiently.
Provide excellent customer service and represent the club positively.
Additional Duties, as required Promote & embody the CISC Youth Academy philosophy: Individual Player Development in Soccer, Personal, & Athletic growth.
Foster an environment where players are engaged, having fun, and forming meaningful relationships.
Complete administrative tasks (e.g., evaluations, reporting) in a timely manner.
Participate in the Player Placement Process (PPP) to support player evaluation and team assignments.
Support a consistent club culture across all Youth Academy locations.
Handle other responsibilities as assigned by the Youth Academy Location Director, Youth Academy Director
The following skills are preferred for successful candidates: Strong knowledge of youth soccer development principles. Experience coaching youth athletes and managing player development. Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and players. Professionalism and commitment to ongoing coaching education. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required by the training and game schedule.
