The School of Nursing offers baccalaureate (4-year traditional, transfer, and accelerated second degree options), Masters (Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) and Nurse Midwifery (NM), Post Graduate Certificates (FNP, PMHNP, NM), and Doctorate of Nurse Practice (DNP) programs. The School of Nursing has two physical locations: Winchester Main Campus and Loudoun, and Graduate programs are offered online with onsite campus immersions.
Candidates must hold a Master of Science in Nursing and possess a valid Virginia RN license. Clinical experience in medical-surgical nursing is required, while a PhD or DNP and academic experience are preferred.
