Overview A warm Miami-based family is seeking an experienced, professional, and career-oriented nanny to care for their one-year-old son. The role is Monday through Friday from 8:30 am until 5:30 pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for a seasoned nanny who is passionate about child development, enjoys being actively engaged with children, and is looking for a long-term position with a family. The family spends summers in upstate New York and travels both domestically and internationally, so the ability and willingness to travel is an essential part of the role.
Childcare Responsibilities The nanny will take primary responsibility for all aspects of the child's daily care, including: Providing attentive, loving, and developmentally appropriate care for a one-year-old Planning and engaging in age-appropriate play and activities Supporting the child's physical, emotional, and cognitive development Preparing healthy, child-friendly meals and snacks Maintaining the child's routines and schedule Getting down on the floor and actively engaging in play Keeping the child's belongings and areas organized and tidy Communicating daily with Mom, who works from home Traveling with the family to upstate New York during the summer Traveling domestically and internationally with the family as needed Light Housekeeping The nanny will also be responsible for light household tasks related to the child and keeping common areas orderly, including: Child's laundry Cleaning and organizing areas around the child's belongings Emptying the dishwasher Taking out the trash when needed Keeping the kitchen, playrooms, living room, and other common areas tidy Cleaning up after the child's meals, activities, and play
