The Coding Auditor will apply adult learning principles to develop and deliver training solutions while collaborating with subject matter experts to assess performance needs. Update curricula and explore new materials for program participants What minimum qualifications you'll need Licensure / Certification / Registration: Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred. Certified Professional Coder (CPC) credentialed from the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) preferred. Reg Health Info Admnstr credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred. Reg Health Info Tech credentialed from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA) preferred.
High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required.

Experience: 1 year of experience required. What additional requirements you'll need 40 hours a week | M-F | Hours between 6 AM - 6 PM Central Time Zone (bulk of work between clinic hours of 8 am - 5 pm) | No weekends or major holidays CPC or CCS-P required with 3-5 years of direct coding experience. Will consider RHIA or RHIT with direct coding experience of 5+ years. 1-2 years of E/M (evaluation and management) auditing as well as strong knowledge of procedural coding highly desired
