The Home Visitor builds trusting relationships with families to support child development and school readiness through weekly home visits. They also connect families with community resources and facilitate group socializations to foster parent-child engagement.

What You'll DoPartner with Families Build trusting, collaborative relationships with expectant families and families with infants and toddlers.

Support parents in setting and achieving goals for themselves and their children.

Connect families with community resources and services that help them thrive.

Encourage family engagement, leadership, and advocacy.

Support Early Learning and Development Conduct weekly home visits focused on child development, school readiness, and family well-being.

Partner with parents to create engaging learning experiences using everyday routines and materials.

Help families understand and celebrate their child's developmental progress.

Support children with individualized learning and developmental goals.

Create Community Connections Plan and facilitate family socializations and group experiences each month.

Provide opportunities for families to learn from and support one another.

Collaborate with health providers, community agencies, and program staff to ensure comprehensive services.

Essential Qualifications Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Family Studies, Social Work, Psychology, Adult Education, or a related field; OR a minimum of Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, Home Visitor or Infant Toddler; or comparable credential; bachelor’s degree preferred; Minimum of one year of experience working with adults and preschool children, infants, and toddlers preferred.

Home visiting experience preferred.

Bilingual English/Spanish a plus.

Requirements

Candidates must hold at least an Associate's degree in a relevant field or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. At least one year of experience working with adults and children is preferred.
