Ithaca College is looking for motivated and responsible students to oversee sport club activities. Ithaca College has over 20 sport clubs and hosts multiple activities a week throughout the school year. You would play a crucial role in ensuring a smooth operation of sport club activities, ensuring safety of participants, and an enjoyable experience for spectators and teams.
Supervise sport club practices and games, ensuring adherence to club guidelines, safety protocols, and university policies.
Manage and oversee the facilities and ensure that teams and spectators are using the venue properly.
Communicate to those at the venue the protocols and rules of the facility and use effective communication to ensure positive experience.
Serve as a point of contact for club members, coaches, and university staff regarding practice and game coordination.
Assist with setup, breakdown, and general operations related to club sport events as needed.
Qualifications: First Aid/CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain upon hiring)
Supervisor or leadership experience is preferred but not needed.
Ability to work in a group and independently.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Knowledge of sports and guidelines preferred.
Ability to work nights and evenings and availability on weekends.
