The Graduate Assistant will perform manual labor tasks such as moving equipment and maintaining locker room facilities. They will also assist with basketball team operations, including film breakdown and individual workout support.
New incoming students are not eligible for student employment until the semester in which they begin classes.

Exception: If the number of credit hours needed to graduate is less than the minimum number of hours required for student employment, the student must obtain a letter from their Academic Advisor (stating the number of hours needed to graduate and anticipated graduation date) and submit it to Human Resources. This pertains to both regular and Federal Work Study Program positions. Contact jobs@uco.edu for more information. Qualifications/Experience Required A valid driver's license is required. Experience working in groups and independently as part of a group. Experience working with a basketball team in the past preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Basic knowledge of basketball skills and development that can be built upon. Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of programs. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills. Great organizational skills. Strong desire to learn. Dependable. Punctual. Candidates must be currently enrolled students at the University of Central Oklahoma and possess a valid driver's license. Previous experience working with a basketball team is preferred, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
