Employees in this position work to provide necessary instruction, training, services and individual attention to pupils. The assistant is monitored by the teacher in charge of the class, who, with their supervisor, reviews the work through observation and conferences. Major Responsibilities Provides assistance to student in education classrooms in completing tasks assigned by teachers Assist the teacher in observing, recording and charting behavior Supervise child in the hallway, lunchroom and playground Observe behavior and carries out behavior management activities
