  • Summary: The Department of Rehabilitation Sciences is seeking a qualified Adjunct, Rehabilitation Sciences, to teach undergraduate courses within the Sports Medicine program. This is a part-time, as-needed appointment that supports the department in achieving program and student learning outcomes. The successful candidate will provide high-quality classroom and laboratory instruction, assist with student development, and contribute to departmental and university service activities.
  • Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Provide instruction and student supervision in assigned laboratory and classroom settings.
  • Evaluate student performance and submit accurate, timely records of grades and attendance.
  • Comply with Institutional, College, and Department policies and procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in sports medicine, injury prevention, evaluation, emergency care, rehabilitation, and/or related areas.
  • Ability to effectively teach and mentor undergraduate students.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current Board of Certification (BOC) certification as an Athletic Trainer (ATC).
  • Current or eligibility for Florida Athletic Training licensure.
  • Previous college/university teaching experience.
  • Clinical experience in athletic training or sports medicine.

This is an undergraduate instructional position; therefore, a master’s degree is the minimum required academic credential. Requirements
