Christ the King Catholic School is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support teachers and students in creating a positive, faith-centered learning environment. The Paraprofessional will work closely with classroom teachers to provide instructional support, assist with student supervision, and help promote the academic, social, and spiritual development of students. Essential Responsibilities
Assist teachers with classroom instruction and daily educational activities.
Provide one-on-one and small-group support to students as directed by the teacher.
Reinforce lessons and learning objectives to help students achieve academic success.
Support students with diverse learning needs and encourage positive engagement in the classroom.
Supervise students during lunch, recess, arrival, dismissal, field trips, and other school activities.
Prepare instructional materials, classroom resources, and learning aids.
Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom environment.
Monitor student behavior and support the implementation of classroom management strategies.
Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student growth and well-being.
Uphold and model the mission, values, and teachings of the Catholic faith.
Candidates must have at least a high school diploma or equivalent, with an associate or bachelor's degree preferred. Previous experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting is also preferred.
