Under the general supervision of the Director of the School of Nursing and the Nursing Learning Center Director, provides instructional support for the daily operations of the Nursing Learning Center. This person coordinates the schedule for the Nursing Learning Center, as well as inventory, maintenance, and purchasing supplies and equipment for the School of Nursing Learning Center. Additionally, this person serves as the simulation technician for all simulation activities in the School of Nursing.

Key responsibilities
Provides instructional, technical, and logistical support for the SON & Learning Center
Primary scheduler for SON rooms utilizing interactive calendar system. Assists Learning Center Director with the daily operation of Learning Center. Assists with SON student tracking systems.
Responsible for the Equipment and maintenance, supply purchasing, and inventory including for the Learning Center - Performs regular inspections of the classroom audio-visual equipment to ensure they are in proper working order. Ensures that simulation labs are kept orderly on a daily basis.
Assists faculty in simulation - Assists faculty with the setup and operation of equipment in the Nursing Learning Center including task trainers and simulation scenarios. Runs the simulators for simulation educational based activities.
Supervises work study students - Supervises the Learning Center work-study students with guidance from the Learning Center Director.
Monitors and schedules SON rooms and lab spaces - Monitors all rooms for functioning of equipment, replenishing of supplies, and general safety and cleanliness

Salary placement is determined by the education, experience, and qualifications the candidate brings to the position, internal equity, and the hiring department’s fiscal resources.
Hiring Range: The hiring range for this position is $4,184 (Step 1) - $5,521 (Step 15) per month commensurate with candidate's education, experience, skills, and training.
CSU Classification
The CSU Classification Salary Range for this position is $4,184 (Step 1) - $6,096 (Step 20) per month.
