Preschool Teacher – Help Build the Foundation for Kindergarten Success
The Learning Experience – Byron Center is looking for an enthusiastic Preschool Teacher to create an engaging classroom where young children develop confidence, curiosity, independence, and early school-readiness skills.
This role is ideal for an educator who enjoys making learning fun through hands-on activities, purposeful play, and meaningful interactions with children.
What You'll Do: Lead engaging daily preschool activities and classroom routines
Implement The Learning Experience's proprietary L.E.A.P. Curriculum
Support early literacy, math, language, creativity, and social-emotional development
Encourage independence, problem-solving, and positive peer relationships
Guide children through learning centers, group activities, meals, outdoor play, and transitions
Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming classroom
Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom activities and children's progress
Collaborate with your teaching team and center leadership
Follow Michigan childcare licensing requirements and center policies
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required
Previous preschool, daycare, or childcare experience preferred
CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework preferred
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Dependable, nurturing, and team-oriented
Must meet Michigan childcare licensing requirements
