English, Science & Math teachers will plan and provide appropriate learning experiences for students in an alternate educational setting. The certified teacher in this position is responsible for helping to create a learning environment that provides specialized instruction for a small group student who may need: 1:1 and/or small group instruction, lessons & activities for a variety of learning styles, and someone who is patient and flexible.
CE, CEAS or Standard certification- welcomed!
Hours: M-F, 8:15-2:30, 1/2 lunch, hourly rates from $42-$46 depending on experience
Job Type: Part time, could lead to full time

include: Develop lesson plans, assignments and activities that reflect individual needs, goals, and objectives according to content area. Establish and follow routine and schedule to provide maximum learning time. Establish and maintain an environment conducive to learning. Utilize appropriate curricula, materials, and behavioral techniques. Complete all required paperwork in a professional and timely manner. Always supervise students in the classroom.
