About the Role
- Hello School Social Workers! Ampersand Therapy is hiring School Social Workers to support students in an elementary school near Golden, CO. In this role, you’ll provide individual and group social-emotional support, collaborate with school teams and families, and help students navigate academic, behavioral, and social challenges. You’ll work closely with educators and other specialists while receiving support from a therapist-owned and operated company. - + 401(k) with company match Reimbursement for licensure and professional development Referral bonuses What You’ll Do Provide individual and group counseling to support student mental health and social-emotional development Support crisis intervention, de-escalation, and safety planning as needed Participate in IEP, MTSS, and student support team meetings Conduct assessments related to social-emotional and behavioral needs Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers Support attendance, engagement, and wraparound services for students and families Assist in developing and implementing intervention plans Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant documentation Connect families to community resources and supports What We’re Looking For Valid Colorado Department of Education (CDE) School Social Worker license/credential Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field Strong communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills Experience working with children in a school setting preferred Experience supporting students with diverse academic, behavioral, or social-emotional needs preferred About Ampersand Therapy Ampersand Therapy is a therapist-owned and operated company built by providers who understand school-based work.
