  • Responsibilities: Gathers and sets up appropriate supplies and materials for planned recreational activities; ensures the children participants’ safety in utilizing the same. Enforces all rules that pertain to the camp, children’s program, and facility on a constant basis. Organizes and supervises recreational activities; observes, monitors, and supervises participants; maintains control of the participants and when needed displays proper discipline techniques Ensures the safety and protection of participants at all times Physical Requirements/Working Conditions. Meets attendance requirements Must be in good physical and mental health, capable of meeting the demands of the gymnasium and athletic field programs. Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs; Must be willing and able to swim, get wet, and/or subject to getting dirty while working with children. Work is performed in an indoor and outdoor recreational environment where there may be physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or with noise, dust, dirt, and the like.
