Job summary

Develop, implement, and supervise industry-aligned coursework that provides students with technical knowledge, hands-on skills, and career readiness. Deliver effective instruction that promotes an exemplary educational program and supports the success of all students.

Essential duties and responsibilities

• Develop, plan, prepare, and implement course content, format, structure, schedule, individualized programs of instruction for students, classroom materials and curriculum, lesson plans, and learning activities.

• Administer, edit, proofread, and grade students’ assignments and assessments.

• Design assessment tasks that allow students to demonstrate understanding in a variety of ways and use the data to give meaningful feedback and modify instruction.

Minimum Qualifications

• The minimum prerequisites of formal education, professional work experience, certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, trainings, and other criteria that a candidate must fulfill to be considered for a position. It is essential that certifications, licenses, endorsements, designations, and trainings are fulfilled, valid, and not expired.
• Criminal background check and fingerprinting required
• High School Equivalency (HSE) diploma
• Five (5) years of professional work experience in industry
• Appropriate certifications or licenses in the industry field
• Basic knowledge of typical office equipment such as telephones, copiers, fax machines, email, etc.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Basic classroom management and planning skills
• Basic organizational skills
• Intermediate verbal and written communication and interpersonal relations skills
• Ability to assume leadership in the development and communication of programs and curriculum
• Ability and desire to work as a team member

Additional Information

Night programming at the Cherry Creek Innovation Campus is designed to support current high school students and adult learners across the metro area to obtain a Certified Nursing Assistant License through the state of Colorado. Night programming is Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM to teach skills for testing and clinicals. The instructor will also be responsible for supervising clinicals at a currently established nursing facility. AN RN LICENSE THROUGH THE STATE OF COLORADO IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION.
