About the role

The teacher is responsible for creating a safe, nurturing learning environment and preparing engaging, hands-on lesson plans. They must also document student progress and maintain positive communication with parents and team members.

Spanish Schoolhouse, the largest Spanish Immersion preschool in the country, is growing and we are seeking a Part-Time English Kindergarten Teacher for our North Dallas campus. Come join our mission to create a bigger & brighter future for children!

Responsibilities: of a Part-Time ENGLISH KINDERGARTEN TEACHER include:

· Creating a safe and nurturing and welcoming learning environment for students.

· Preparing fun and engaging lesson plans geared towards hands-on learning.

· Setting classroom rules and expectations using positive discipline.

· Teaching according to the Spanish Schoolhouse curriculum and preparing students for academic success.

· Helping each child reach their full potential through individualized attention with a focus on engaging them in conversation and hands-on learning.

· Documenting children’s daily activities and developmental growth, and keeping parents informed of progress.

· Maintaining positive relationships and communication with students, parents, and team members at all times.

Requirements: of a KINDERGARTEN ENGLISH TEACHER include:

· Bachelor's degree required

· Teaching certification

· Demonstrate enthusiasm for learning and child development

· Previous teaching experience

· Speak, read, and write English fluently

Preferred Skills and Abilities of a KINDERGARTEN ENGLISH TEACHER include

· K-5 teaching experience
