Job Description

We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach medical assisting students in our medical assisting program.

This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the Program Director.

The primary responsibility will be to teach medical assisting/medical office administration courses.

The typical teaching load is 2 courses each term.

Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, assist the program director and participate in department training, meetings and graduation.

Qualifications

  • Certification in Medical Assisting Required
  • At least 5 years of industry experience required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organized, motivated and results driven
  • 5 or more years prior teaching experience preferred •

Requirements

Applicants must hold a certification in Medical Assisting and possess at least 5 years of industry experience. Prior teaching experience is preferred, along with strong organizational and communication skills.
