The purpose of the Pickleball Instructor is to teach group and private lessons in a professional and safe manner to the members and guests of the Center and to assist with special events. Essential
1. Instruct all levels from beginner to advanced. 2. Conduct group and private lessons. 3. Design and implement lesson plans. 4. Ability to demonstrate Pickleball techniques. 5. Able to properly evaluate students for placement in lesson groups or leagues. 6. Program development: assist in developing and coordinating member retention activities, maintain accurate records for classes, assist in development of new opportunities for members by offering insight and input. 7. Assist with court cleanliness and general maintenance. 8. Enforcement of center policies and rules 9. Demonstrate accountability to schedule by starting and ending sessions on time and avoiding missed sessions. 10. Work towards meeting departmental and organizational goals. 11. Must meet all safety requirements and certifications necessary to perform job duties. 12. Assist with promotional activities and events. 13. Demonstrate complete knowledge of emergency and safety procedures and confidence communicating with EMS. 14. Participate in Company’s HIPAA and related training. 15. Maintain a positive and professional demeanor during interactions and in ongoing work-related relationships with all persons in other departments and at the Centers including but not limited to members, guests and employees as provided in the Employee Handbook. 16. Candidates must hold a current Pickleball Instructor Certification and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The role requires the ability to work nights and weekends, with a CPR/AED certification needed within 90 days of hire.
