Hotchkiss Lifeguards provide supervision and work to ensure safety for all swimmers in our aquatic facility.
Lifeguards support community open swim, and can be called upon to support other guarding needs at the Hotchkiss waterfront, if waterfront certified, or for additional event needs at the Hixon Pool.
Lifeguards play an instrumental role in maintaining safety for swimmers in the pool, and around the pool deck.
They must be informed about and possess the ability to follow all safety protocols.
Patron safety is the primary responsibility.
