Key Responsibilities
Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans addressing all learning domains.
Work collaboratively with classroom staff to promote diversity, inclusion, teamwork, and mutual respect.
Actively engage children in conversation to support language development, early literacy, and social–emotional skills.
Build strong, positive relationships with families as partners in each child’s learning and growth.
Collaborate with the Albany City School District to implement curriculum aligned with NYS Learning Standards.
Maintain MAT certification and administer medications as required.
Conduct ongoing assessments using multiple methods to track student progress.
Complete lesson plans, assessments, and progress reports in a timely and organized manner.
Maintain reliable transportation and consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts.
Follow all OCFS licensing regulations and agency policies.

Candidates must have at least 9 college credits in a related field and previous classroom management experience. A NYS Certification in Early Childhood Education or a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential is preferred.
