Aspire Living & Learning is currently seeking a Transition Assistant Teacher to play a key role in helping young adults with intellectual, developmental, and autism spectrum disabilities develop the skills necessary for employment, independent living, and meaningful community participation.
Working closely with the Director of Transition Services, this individual provides direct instruction, coordinates vocational training experiences, supervises community-based employment opportunities, and supports participants in achieving their individualized goals. This position combines the responsibilities of an educator, employment specialist, mentor, and job coach within Aspire's innovative, community-based model.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm

Pay: $45,000-55,000

A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, though an Associate degree with relevant experience may be considered. Candidates must have experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities and possess a valid driver's license.
