The Teacher Aide assists in planning and implementing daily lessons while supervising children during classroom activities, meals, and transitions. They are also responsible for maintaining a safe, clean environment and providing personal care support to children as needed.

What You’ll Be Doing Assists in planning, preparing, and implementing the daily lessons and activities aligned with early childhood development goals .
Assists in planning and preparing the learning environment, and preparing needed materials and supplies.
Supervises and engages children during classroom activities, outdoor play, meals, and transitions.
Supports children with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities or language barriers.
Assists in the Desired Results process.
Observes and documents child behavior and developmental progress as directed.
Helps maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment Assumes responsibilities for regular parent communication as directed by a supervisor.
Assumes general responsibility for the health, safety, and well-being of all children in the agency.
Assists with diapering, toileting, and personal care as needed.
Supports volunteers as requested.
Attends meetings as requested.
Greets children, parents, staff, and guests as needed.
Follows all licensing regulations, health, and safety protocols.
Assists other centers when requested.
