Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position):
Works closely with the Equipment Room Coordinator to ensure that all building and athletic team laundry is processed in a timely manner.
Self-motivated, punctual, responsible, attention to detail.
Duties: and Responsibilities:
Process all athletic team laundry, uniforms, fitness and weight room towels, coach locker room laundry; keep equipment and laundry rooms neat and tidy; inform the Equipment Room Coordinator of any problems that may arise.
Qualifications: (Education/Experience/Skills)
Ability to work independently, punctual, reliable, good communication skills, courteous, self-motivated.
This position requires crouching, stooping, twisting/pivoting, reaching overhead, grasping/handling, pushing/pulling, lifting objects up to 20 lbs., and operating equipment or machinery to perform the essential functions. It also requires exposure to loud noise, respiratory factors, and chemicals, as well as rare exposure to wet or humid conditions indoors and heights or cramped quarters to perform the essential functions. Protective equipment is required to perform some essential functions. Candidates must possess the ability to safely perform the physical work required of all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
