Bilingual/ESL Teacher – Spanish (Multilingual Learners)
The instructor will provide direct, individualized, and small-group instruction to English Learner scholars to support their academic and language development. They will collaborate with classroom teachers and school leadership to ensure equitable access to the curriculum and monitor student progress using assessment data.
Galapagos Rockford Charter School is seeking a highly motivated, bilingual Bilingual/English Learner (EL) Instructor to support scholars in grades K–8 who are developing English language proficiency.
The ideal candidate is an educator who believes that all scholars can achieve at the highest levels and is committed to providing rigorous, individualized, data-driven instruction. This position will work across the K–8 school community to identify and address the academic and language-development needs of English Learner scholars while helping them become confident, successful, and independent learners.
The Bilingual/EL Instructor will collaborate closely with classroom instructors, school leadership, families, and other support staff to ensure that EL scholars have equitable access to the full Galapagos curriculum and are making measurable academic and language-development progress.
