St. Anthony School is seeking an exceptional and dedicated High School Theology Teacher for the 2026–2027 academic year. The ideal candidate is a mission-driven educator committed to academic excellence, faith formation, and the success of all students in an urban, college-preparatory environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and an individualized plan of study to attain licensure/certification approved by the Archdiocese of Milwaukee Office for Schools.
  • A postsecondary degree in Catholic theology
  • Basic Religious Education Certification (within three (3) years from the initial contract date) with continuing efforts toward Advanced certification
  • Strong classroom management and instructional skills
  • Commitment to Catholic education and the mission of the school (preferred)
  • Practicing Catholic

Requirements

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree and a postsecondary degree in Catholic theology. Additionally, they must be a practicing Catholic and obtain Basic Religious Education Certification within three years of the initial contract date.
